About Patricia Ricci
Pat graduated from Mt.Mary University, Milwaukee, WI, with a degree in Art and Elementary Education. After 28 years of teaching, she retired and began taking workshops in watercolor painting. Her paintings of historic buildings built by Frank Stout in the 1920's on Red Cedar Lake near Birchwood, WI are favorites of local residents and vacationers. Her donated originals and prints have helped raise funds for the local food pantry, the school district, the Pink Ribbon of Barron County, and other organizations over the years. She still teaches watercolor painting at Cape Coral Art League in Cape Coral, Florida after the pandemic and Hurricane Ian. The La Crosse, WI area is also her part time residence. There is an abundance of painting and photography opportunities along the Great River Road on both sides of the Mississippi.
